  2. i have a 2004 chevrolet silverado and i was wondering if there was a way i could find out or if u could tell me what the left and right channel wires were coming off the cd player inside the head unit. what the pinout wires are? anyone? thanks

  3. Brian, use a Automotive Test Light and Circuit Tester and test the small orange wire. Ground the circuit tester and probe the orange wire. If the circuit tester lights up, keep the wire probed and start your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. If the test light stays lit the whole time then you've found your battery constant wire. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 stereo installation.

  4. I am installing a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT. I followed the wiring diagram you provided above. However i have one extra wire, a small orange wire that is left over. I connected the large Orange wire for the constant power, and all the speakers and Ground. However, the small orange is still there. What does this wire do? I also tried hooking the radio up and am getting nothing no power or anything to the radio. Have checked all the fuses and such and they are all good. Sooo i wonder if this small orange wire is the key. Thanks, Brian.

  5. Pieter, as much as we would like to help you, there is a good amount of wiring involved even for an experienced car audio installer. Our advice is to use an auxiliary input adapter. An automotive auxiliary input adapter will allow you to input any mp3 player or portable music player into your factory radio. This is the easiest and most cost effective to add an audio input into your factory stereo. Here is the adapter you will need:

If you've never installed car audio before, we advise you to take your car to an experienced mobile audio installer. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado C2500 aux input adapter installation.

  6. I have a 2004 Silverado without an auxillary port input, but the radio has an auxillary switch. I would like to connect a plug to play my Sirius radio or Ipod through the radio. Can you help me do that?
    Thanks
